Our village was founded during the Song Dynasty, over a thousand years ago. In 1863, Catholicism was introduced to Dong Lv, profoundly influencing local culture. In 1901, due to political events, the village built defensive structures, including walls, gates, and four bastions at the northeast, northwest, southwest, and southeast corners. These gates were named: “The Blessing of the Faith,” “The Tower of David,” “St. Michael,” and “St. Louis King.” Unfortunately, the original church was destroyed in 1941. However, in 1989, construction began on a larger church, which was completed in 1992.

As floods caused desertification, farming became unsustainable, and many villagers shifted from agriculture to business. In 1995, our family entered the hoisting industry, and in 1999, my father founded Li Yuan Accessories Factory. In 2015, I registered Hebei Lv Gong Hoisting Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. To adapt to changing market demands, in 2023, we established Makabaka (Hebei Xiongan) Trading Co., Ltd., gradually transitioning from domestic manufacturing to an integrated trade business, continuing to provide high-quality products and solutions to customers worldwide.
